Project opponents once again are posting erroneous and false information on their websites hoping to scare the public with misinformation about the Dutra Haystack Asphalt Plant operations. The latest blog entry dated 4/22/09 on the Save Shollenberger Park website grossly misstates our hours of operation.

The facts are, most road construction work is performed during the daytime hours and our normal hours of operation for asphalt production will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Only 15% to 20% of operations will be at night or on the weekends to fulfill public work project requirements for Caltrans, County and City of Petaluma projects.

We have sent a letter to Save Shollenberger Park leaders asking them once again to correct their website with the facts. We hope the public and media will join us in asking Save Shollenberger Park and Moms for Clean Air to cease and desist spreading false and misleading information to the public.
